Grinding mills

Vertical shaft

Vertical-shaft grinding mills with a built-in classifier allow for simple installation due to their small footprint. They are suitable for processing a wide variety of mineral, plant, and chemical products to a high degree of fineness, with precise output size control.

  • Inspection door for easy cleaning and regulating the degree of fineness.
  • The output leaves the grinder without rejects.
  • Wide degree of regulation by varying the number of classifiers.
  • Possibility of simultaneous drying of wet output.
  • Cold grinding of thermosensitive products.
  • Three models with grinding chambers measuring 500, 850, and 1100 mm and power outputs of up to 300 hp.

APPLICATIONS

  • Calcium carbonate
  • Sulphur
  • Cocoa
  • Sugar
  • Graphite
  • Talc
  • Kaolin
  • Diatoms
  • Ammonium nitrate
  • Insecticides
  • Wheat flour
  • Pigments

Horizontal shaft

Extremely versatile, high-speed oscillating hammer mills for medium and fine grinding. They operate with a high air flow rate and can be fitted with various types of static or dynamic classifiers. They accept high gas temperatures in order to dry products with a high degree of humidity or for gypsum calcination. Four models with grinding chambers measuring 600, 800, and 1100 mm in diameter. Power outputs of up to 250 hp.

  • limestone
  • plasters
  • bentonites
  • clays
  • sulphur
Plants

  • biomass
  • soya
  • pomace
  • peas
  • shells/husks
Chemical products

Pendulum mills

Six models with chambers measuring up to 1900 mm in diameter and installed powers of up to 600 hp (with dynamic classifiers), capacities up to 30 t/h, and finenesses up to 45 microns. They crush, classify, and dry a wide variety of products up to a hardness of 5.5 on the Mohs scale.

Microball mills

For grinding anything from plaster to high-tech ceramics down to the micron. Dry or wet grinding, continuous or batch grinding, sizes up to 150 hp.

Classifiers

Static classifiers

Effective filler separator in sand for:

  • Concrete
  • Mortar
  • Asphalt

Gravitational/inertial classifiers take advantage of air flow, gravity, and changes in direction to achieve cuts between 300 and 75 microns. The material inlet and primary air enter through the top of the classifier and go towards the base of the classifier. The air changes direction 120º and passes through the veins, carrying the fine particles with it. Thick particles, too heavy to follow the same path, fall to the base of the classifier and are discharged through the valve. Secondary air (introduced below the veins) passes through the material curtain, separating particles close to the cut-off point, making them pass through the eddy current in the heart-shaped classifier chamber. The fine particles separated by the two processes are directed towards the bag filter for recovery.

Centrifugal classifiers

Using centrifugal forces like cyclones, these classifiers allow cuts between 5 and 100 microns. The heavier particles fall to the base of the classifier, where they are discharged through a valve. The fine particles spiral towards the outlets located on both sides of the classifier. The two air flows join together and are directed to a cyclone for recovery.

Gravitational classifiers

These units are ideal for sorting and separating materials with cuts between 1.70 mm and 150 microns. The material falls by gravity, creating a curtain of product that, when in contact with the airflow, allows the separation of fine materials from coarse materials.
The fine materials are directed (via airflow) to the bag filter for recovery and the coarse materials are discharged through the base of the classifier.

Dynamic classifiers

Dynamic classifiers have a precision turbine driven by a variable frequency drive electric motor.

Careful design of the turbine blades. Perfect sealing and precise control of the flow rate through the turbine allow for precise particle classification into micron sizes with high efficiency.

The open-circuit design collects the smaller particles in the filter without recirculating fine materials and guarantees stability throughout the entire operation.

They are manufactured in four models with air flow rates of up to 12,000 m3/h.

Production according to fineness.
